Once we had Identified the two font's that we wanted to experiment with we then as a group started to write down some ideas so that we could all take a copy of the spider diagram and start working on some imagery and ideas.
To start re-branding we all went are separate ways and started to sketch some ideas out. I tried sketching ideas out to do with warmth and linking letters, to link with the name of the company and the heat of a boiler.
I then took the ideas that I had on paper and started to develop them on Photoshop, to see what typography designs I could come up with.
I created three different typefaces on Photoshop the first one, I wanted to keep it simple and sophisticated as i think it would give 'Help Link' a professional look, but I found that the typography itself didn't really say much about the company, other than the use of the colour red for warmth I didn't think that it communicated well.
In the second piece of typography that I created, I tried to link the two words together to link with the name of the company 'Help Link', I liked this idea the most out of the three typefaces which I created. But again I still didn't think it was right as I felt it needed to link in more with with the company.
Again I tried to make another piece of typography at this point I had very limited ideas. I wanted to try make colour an influence in my next type piece so I tried playing around with the original colours in the original logo and tried to make it work. I also layered text over a copy of the text to add texture and make it eye catching.
Being honest, I wasn't particularly happy with the typography that I created and in the future would spend more time working on ideas and possibly creating more mind maps for a wider variety of ideas.
After we each did are individual typography we grouped back together and tried to bring all the best ideas together to create our logo. So with the elements of everyone's ideas we created these two final ideas.

After a debate with the team we finally decided that this logo would work the best as it was simpler and would be clear to see when shrunk down to a smaller size.
